For MNM's completely renewed studio, we handled the creative and technical implementation of the lighting. Together with set designer Nele Ceustermans, we created a dynamic and visually powerful whole. We placed LED in the side walls and floor, integrated LED lines as rhythmic accents, and made a neon version of the MNM logo that really shines. The studio is flexible in mood and colour, and visually fits the young character of the station perfectly.

When MNM renewed their studio, they came to TECside to help shape the lighting story. Together with set designer Nele Ceustermans, we looked for a set-up that is both visually full of character and functionally flexible.

What we delivered:

LED in the side walls and floor
We fitted RGBW LED strips in the walls and floor, so the space can change mood quickly and easily. This set-up makes it possible to match the colours to the moment or the programme, for maximum visual impact on screen.

The MNM logo in neon
A real eye-catcher is the neon logo, which we custom-made to the station's new house style. The warm glow of the neon brings the logo to life and gives the space a recognisable identity.

LED lines as rhythmic accents
We worked extra LED lines into the structure of the studio, adding depth, rhythm and energy to the design. Everything is fully controllable and can be adjusted live.

A studio full of possibilities

The result is a studio buzzing with colour and energy, which can also radiate calm and simplicity when needed. Thanks to the smart set-up, a few adjustments are all it takes to create a completely different atmosphere.

With this project, MNM stays future-proof, both visually and technically. And we are proud to have been part of it once again.
