Radio 1 studio, VRT (2022)

Client: VRT
Year: 2022
Category: TV and studio

For VRT, we had the pleasure of fitting out this beautiful studio with lighting. With more than 50 individually controllable LED strips and a custom-made ceiling fixture, this was a really lovely project.

In spring 2022, VRT commissioned us to fit their new Radio 1 studio with LED lighting.

Our team built a total of 55 LED strips of various lengths and four fully custom-made light boxes. These had to be carefully mounted on an acoustic wall. The challenge was to achieve perfectly even light from top to bottom with very limited space for cabling.

Besides the LED strips, we also got to make a stunning centrepiece above the desk. This fixture was entirely custom-made. The laser-cut steel structures, the thick acrylic sheet and the baked-on spray finish give this chandelier a beautiful finish.

We also made a logo for the media room, which is often used for photo shoots, short videos and social media content.
