Industria Gala 2019

Client: Industria
Year: 2019

With more than 250 of our brand-new RGBW pixel LED tubes, we created an amazing effect to match the special character of this spectacular venue.

The starting point

For the industrial engineers' gala ball, it was their first time on the campus in Leuven. This space has a shaft no less than 20 m high and 16 m in diameter.

They asked us to come up with a creative idea to make 100% use of the space.

The idea

We came up with the idea of emphasising the height of the space even more by hanging 200 LED tubes. These LED tubes gave the space an extra dimension and created breathtaking effects.

The top 2 metres were tilted inwards at 45 degrees, creating a kind of ceiling at the top of the shaft.

The general lighting was done with a combination of moving heads and washes mounted directly on the structure of the hall.
