Olympia Hasselt

Olympia had a clear wish: they wanted to turn their spinning studio into more than just a place to work out. Their idea? A space that is not only functional, but also cool, interactive and fun, so participants are raring to go every time they climb on. So their question to us was:
"Can you develop a lighting system that responds to our spinning bikes, the music and the intensity of the workouts?"

Olympia's spinning bikes are fitted with small screens that show colour codes to indicate the intensity of the workout. The coach shapes the class through the music, with the beats per minute (BPM) setting the pace and the level of difficulty. Their dream was a total experience: light, sound and intensity perfectly integrated.

After analysis, a direct link with the bikes turned out to be technically impossible. So we developed a solution that is both practical and spectacular: a tablet next to the coach, used to easily select different lighting scenes. These scenes are matched to the BPM and use colours that run in sync with the intensity levels on the bikes.

The result?
✨ Fun & atmosphere – The dynamic LEDs turn the studio into a club-like setting. Every workout feels like a party, with light shows that follow the music.
💪 Performance-boosting – Because participants are carried along visually and aurally by the rhythm and intensity, they naturally go that step further. The light gives just that extra energy boost.
🎨 Visually impressive – The space radiates professionalism and innovation, and turns an ordinary spinning class into an experience.

Olympia's spinning studio is now a true Spinning Hub: a place where technology, sport and experience meet. Participants come not only for the workout, but also for the unique atmosphere. They go home with more motivation, better performance and a big smile.
